Differences between “Coliving” and “Flat-sharing”

Often, the world of coliving is tainted by a misperception of the concept, which is commonly confused with “flat-sharing,” even though they are two very different things.

In flat-sharing, amenities and additional services are less common and depend more on individual agreements among roommates.

3️⃣ Flexibility and management: Coliving offers centralized management, where residents can rent individual rooms or units with flexible contracts and all-inclusive services. This provides greater ease in terms of administration and avoids conflicts related to space management.

In flat-sharing, the responsibility for management and rental arrangements lies with the roommates themselves.
